Mary Ritschell in play at Peoria Life Insurance Co
Mary Ritschel was the maid of honor at the wedding of Earl and Agnes (Schmitt) Cox wedding in 1928. She and my mother became friends when Mom worked in Peoria and lived with her Aunt Bridget. Mom said that Mary performed in plays and in this photo she is in costume for a play in which she was appearing. Mary married my mother's cousin, Lawrence Gilles.
